For portable dry powder fire extinguishers every five years or before refilling, the head, cylinder and gas cylinders should be subjected to a hydraulic test. The refilled gas cylinders should be tested for air tightness, hydraulic pressure test and air tightness. Can continue to use after passing the test;
The dry powder storage tank and the carbon dioxide cylinder of the cart-type dry powder fire extinguisher shall be subjected to a hydraulic test every three years, and can be used only after being qualified;
The air mechanical foam fire extinguisher shall undergo a hydraulic strength test every time the extinguishing agent is changed or the factory has been out of the factory for three years, and it can be used only after being qualified;
Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers should be subjected to a hydraulic test every five years or before filling, and they can be used only after they are qualified;
The clean water fire extinguisher should be subjected to a water pressure test before each filling, and can be filled and used only after being qualified. The carbon dioxide cylinder should be weighed every six months. If there is a leak, it should be refilled.
Counting from the date of manufacture, fire extinguishers must be scrapped if they reach the following ages:
Water-based fire extinguisher-6 years;
Dry powder fire extinguisher-10 years;
Clean gas fire extinguisher-10 years;
Carbon dioxide fire extinguisher and gas cylinder-12 years;
The scrapping of fire extinguishers should be carried out by special units in accordance with regulations.
